Rotterdam

Rotterdam, Lekhaven.

This site is used primarily for logistical purposes and small repairs to ships. The harbour is easily accessible and an ideal location for having this type of work carried out on seagoing vessels.
At 335 metres, the quay is spaciously dimensioned, meaning that there are few limits with regard to the type of ships it can accommodate.

The logistical convenience that we have here is that when unloading consignments from China, hulls can be "parked" here before they are transported further to their finishing locations. The unloading operations are almost always performed at Waalhaven, which lies opposite Lekhaven and so the transfer is quick and easy. The use of this location is coordinated from the head office in Werkendam. If you would like to know more, please feel free to contact us.
